Membership Packages 2019/2020

The Greater KC chapter's membership year runs from July 1st to June 30th. The Chapter conducts professional development programs/luncheons on the 2nd Thursday of each month from September to April. Monthly programs begin at 11:30 AM and conclude about 1:00 PM. In May, the Chapter hosts a one-day conference which provides a full day of training and networking opportunities.

Here are the available membership options:

"Early Bird" Annual Chapter Membership
(2019-2020 dues paid in full BY July 26, 2019)
Includes Annual Chapter Membership, all monthly programs, and $50 credit towards 2020 Central Region Conference in Kansas City– a savings of $75 over the non-member rates (with IPMA-HR National membership)
$150 if an IPMA-HR National member*
*Must Maintain National Membership Throughout Program Year to receive the discount.
$175 for non-IPMA-HR National members.

Annual Chapter Membership
(2019-2020 dues paid AFTER July 26, 2019)
Includes Annual Chapter Membership, all monthly programs, and $50 credit towards 2020 Central Region Conference in Kansas City–– a savings of $55 over the non-member rates (with IPMA-HR National membership)
$170 if an IPMA-HR National member*
*Must Maintain National Membership Throughout Program Year to receive the discount.
$195 for non-IPMA-HR National members.

Student Chapter Membership
Available to individuals currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program of study at an accredited college or university and not working full-time. Not eligible to vote or to hold office.
$20 Annual Chapter Membership; additional monthly program fee $20 (not including Spring Conference)

Note: Non-member visitor fees are $25 per monthly meeting. Cost of the 2020 Central Regional Conference forthcoming.

The Chapter makes every effort to keep membership fees to a minimum. We understand that workplace emergencies happen and when that occurs, it is important to immediately notify the Chapter Secretary. Non-members that RSVP for a monthly meeting, and then are unable to attend, will be invoiced for $15 to cover the cost of food (unless cancellation is received at least 3 days before the meeting.) If the $25 non-member fee has already been paid, it will not be reimbursed.

Non-members that RSVP for the Spring Conference, and then are unable to attend, will be invoiced $40 to cover the cost of food, unless cancellation is received at least 3 weeks prior to the conference. Failure to cancel 3 days prior to the Spring Conference will result in no refund.
