Human Resources Analyst (Public Safety Recruiter)

Kansas City, KS

The Unified Government of WyCo/KCK is seeking an HR Analyst (Public Safety Recruiter). This position is responsible for professional level Human Resources Administration in the HR discipline of Recruitment. The successful candidate will design and implement an innovative and effective overall recruitment strategy for Public Safety positions (Police, Fire and Sheriff Departments). Oversees hiring processes and corresponding policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with applicable Federal, State and Local Employment laws. Actively recruits at various events such as job fairs, schools/colleges and other events and venues. This position will also assist in other areas of Human Resources as needed to include various HR Generalist activities and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field and three years of human resources recruitment or generalist experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to multi-task. Proficiency in Microsoft office products. Knowledge of the Field of Law Enforcement and/or Public Safety preferred. Certification by Society of Human Resources Management (HRCI) is a plus. Salary: $4,000.53—$5,350.80 month
