Human Resources Manager

Merriam, KS

The City of Merriam is seeking a visionary, collaborative, and strategic Human Resources professional to coordinate and manage the human resources and risk management functions for the City. Responsibilities include managing employee recruitment, salary and benefit administration, education and development, payroll, employee relations, performance management, safety and wellness programs, employee engagement initiatives, and risk management. The Human Resources Manager serves as a key advisor to the City’s leadership team and oversees an HR Administrative Coordinator position who assists with day -to-day duties of the division. Minimum Qualifications: Graduated from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or other related field; Five (5) years’ experience in human resources or personnel, or related field; PHR/SPHR certification preferred. Salary Range: $67,719 to $101,578 Annually.
