The Greater KC chapter's membership year runs from July 1st to June 30th. The Chapter conducts professional development programs/luncheons on the 2nd Thursday of each month from September to March. Monthly programs begin at 11:30 AM and conclude about 1:00 PM. In May, the Chapter hosts a one-day conference which provides a full day of training and networking opportunities.
Here are the available membership options:
Annual Chapter Membership
(2017-2018 dues paid AFTER July 14, 2017)
Includes Annual Chapter Membership, all monthly programs, and full day Spring Conference
A savings of $115 over the non-member rates (with IPMA-HR National membership)
$170 for IPMA-HR National members.
$195 for non-IPMA-HR National members.
Student Chapter Membership
Available to individuals currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program of study at an accredited college or university and not working full-time. Not eligible to vote or to hold office.
$20 Annual Chapter Membership; additional monthly program fee ($20)
Note: Non-member visitor fees are $25 per monthly meeting for a total of $200/year. Additional fee for Spring Conference is $85.
Non-members that RSVP for a monthly meeting, and then are unable to attend, will be invoiced for $15 to cover the cost of food, unless cancellation is received at least 3 days before the meeting.)
Non-members that RSVP for the Spring Conference, and then are unable to attend, will be invoiced $40 to cover the cost of food, unless cancellation is received at least 3 weeks prior to the conference. Failure to cancel 3 days prior to the Spring Conference will result in no refund.
